Founded in 1988 by Ar. Rakesh Ranjan Raje under the moniker 'Creative Planner', the firm evolved and officially incorporated as Smriti Architects Pvt. Ltd. in 1990.
Over nearly four decades, we have established a strong presence in Bihar and across multiple states in India, growing into a highly trusted consultancy specialized in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscaping, and Construction Management.

The People Behind Our Practice
Ar. Rakesh Ranjan Raje
A graduate of VRCE Nagpur (1984) with specialized training in Urban Planning from CEPT University and ECBC certification.
With over 38 years of experience, Ar. Raje is a registered member of the Council of Architecture and the A.I.I.A.
He has served as a Technical Advisor to the Industries Association of Bihar, a visiting faculty member at B.C.E. Patna, an external jury member for institutions like B.I.T. Mesra and N.I.T. Patna, and a jury member for the prestigious 31st JK Architect of the Year Award.
Ar. Madhu Smriti
An alumnus of Lucknow University (1988) and a member of A.I.I.A., Ar. Madhu Smriti brings over 32 years of extensive experience supervising landmark government and institutional constructions.
Her distinguished career in the Building Construction Department of the Government of Bihar includes overseeing milestone projects such as the Haj Bhawan, State Guest House, Emergency Block of PMCH, and serving as the Architectural Co-ordinator for the Bihar Museum in partnership with Maki & Associates, Japan.
Ar. Khushboo Smriti Raje
Balancing academia with high-level design execution, she holds a B.Arch from M.I.T. Manipal University (2013) and a Master's in Sustainable Architecture from C.E.P.T. Ahmedabad (2016).
Her experience spans premium academic and professional roles across Mumbai and Patna, infusing the firm's projects with advanced concepts in sustainable, climate-responsive design.
Ar. Sankalp S. Sinha
An urbanist and researcher with an international edge, he earned his B.Arch from D.Y.P. College of Engineering & Technology, Kolhapur (2010) and a Master's in Housing & Urbanism from the prestigious Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture, London (2015).
His decade-long background includes extensive community-centric planning, urban research, and architectural design across Mumbai, India, Brazil, and the UK.
